Biography

Nikita Kadan is a Kyiv-born visual artist, curator, and activist whose work investigates the intersection of history, politics, and the legacy of the Soviet Union in contemporary Ukraine. A graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, Kadan co-founded the R.E.P. collective and the curatorial activist group HUDRADA. His practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and installation, often incorporating archival materials and collaborating with architects, sociologists, and human rights organizations. He has participated in multiple editions of the Venice Biennale and exhibited extensively across Europe and Asia.
